Boebert Throws Shade At Pam Bondi On Her Way Out The Door

  •
  • by: Colorado Pols

As Huffpost reports, she might not be the most effective lawmaker in Colorado history, but tempestuous teapot of texting Rep. Lauren Boebert knows how to snark:

Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) appeared to mock Pam Bondi in the aftermath of President Donald Trump firing her as attorney general.

Boebert has long been a critic of the Justice Department’s botched handling of the Jeffrey Epstein files, and was one of four members of the GOP to back a discharge petition that forced the full release of the documents.

On Thursday, the conservative lawmaker appeared to relish Bondi’s departure, in part due to the Epstein debacle, referencing a stand-out moment from the outgoing attorney general’s unhinged performance before the House Judiciary Committee in February.

There’s a lot we expect Boebert would like to say about now-ex AG Pam Bondi, from the Epstein files debacle to the failure to uncover what’s really going on in the basement of a certain Washington, D.C. pizza shop. And don’t even get Boebert started about the aliens. But Bondi’s calamitous performance before the House Judiciary Committee in February, in which Bondi pivoted away from every hard question with increasingly desperate hagiography about Trump’s Golden Age, was a blunder everyone can apparently relate to–except Donald Trump, of course, who we were told initially loved it.

Knowing how Boebert really feels makes her understated shade stand out even more.
