From the department of slow spring break news days despite war in the Middle East and creeping idiocracy at home, Raw Story reports that former Florida Congressman, brief Donald Trump nominee for attorney general, and close friend of Colorado’s own swirly of specious spaceman supposition Rep. Lauren Boebert Matt Gaetz threw down some head-spinning assertions today in an interview with Russian state media right-wing podcaster Benny Johnson:
Former Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) made an eyebrow-raising claim on air with a far-right talk show host: the U.S. government is not only covering up the existence of extraterrestrials, but breeding them.
Gaetz told Benny Johnson that he received this information from an official briefing.
“I had someone come and brief me who was in a military uniform, worked for the United States Army, that was briefing me on the locations of hybrid breeding programs where captured aliens were breeding with humans to create some hybrid race that could engage in intergalactic communication,” said Gaetz, in a clip flagged by a social media channel following alien conspiracy theories. “An actual uniformed member of the United States Army briefed me on that.”
We assume Gaetz was just trying to keep up with Vice President JD Vance, who told the same Benny Johnson a few days ago that the UFOs under increasingly open discussion these days are in fact “demons” and not aliens at all. It’s unclear how Vance’s theory comports with Gaetz’s allegations of an alien/human breeding program, but we figure that demons being demons would naturally do evil things like forced breeding.
And of course, of all the alien conspiracy theory storylines, the one Matt Gaetz is going to want to be briefed on is…the breeding.
From here, the jokes are no longer suitable for young children.
