We wrote last week about an appearance by Colorado’s harmonic convergence of carpetbagging controversy Rep. Lauren Boebert on the Glenn Beck TV Prime Time with Alex Stein Show, in which Boebert expressed support for the pardoning of fellow reality TV star Joe “Tiger King” Maldonado, currently serving federal prison time for his murder-for-hire plot against fellow big cat enthusiast forever known to history as “That B–ch” Carole Baskin.
But while Newsweek principally took note of Boebert’s support for Tiger King, MTN’s JD Wolf listened to the whole interview, which we confess we initially did not–and as it turns out, the conversation included a lot more. That’s in fact something of an understatement:
Boebert…joined Stein in casting doubt on NASA’s historic moon landings. Stein launched into a rant about the Van Allen radiation belt and modern spaceflight limitations, to which Boebert responded: “I wasn’t alive either when we went to the moon.” When Stein questioned how NASA could have gone to the moon “a thousand times farther” in 1969 than we can today, Boebert joked: “I got a GED. We don’t need numbers. It’s fine. It’s far.”
She later added, “I don’t know, have we been beyond the Van Allen Radiation Belt? Maybe? If so, I would like to know why it’s taken so long to get back through it again,” referring to NASA’s Artemis missions. “We’ll see what Artemis and the Orion spacecraft have to do when they try to take a crewed spaceship back out there in just a year or two.”
From there the subject of the 9/11 terrorist attacks came up because of course they did, don’t they always in any conversation about the moon landings and Tiger King, and Boebert’s contribution on the subject was an apparent change of heart on the part of her friend, Russian grocery store aficionado, and source so reliable that even Fox News couldn’t handle his truth bombs Tucker Carlson:
The Colorado congresswoman also invoked 9/11 conspiracy theories, referencing the collapse of World Trade Center Building 7. “Tucker Carlson once thought that Building 7 just collapsed. And now he says, emphatically, that he was a part of the propaganda that led to the war in Iraq and Afghanistan,” Boebert said.
Obviously, if you believe the collapse of World Trade Center 7 was “propaganda” that led to the subsequent wars initiated by fellow Republican President George W. Bush, you believe a whole bunch of other things underpinning your theory that would raise fundamental questions about one’s mental fitness to serve in Congress. But just like Boebert is careful to say that her familiarity with the “QAnon” conspiracy universe is the result of her conspiracy-minded mother and not necessarily herself personally, Boebert can claim if she’s ever questioned that she was just quoting Tucker Carlson.
But why was Tucker’s conspiracy theory the first thing that came to Boebert’s mind?
If you have to ask, you are not the target audience for this interview–or for that matter, Glenn Beck TV.

Don't care. She is going to be slaughtered in the mid-terms.
How I wish that were true,
Are you speaking of electoral outcomes or some other activity?
If this Bill passes she will be.
Don't you mean the alleged moonlanding?
