    1. I gotta say pfruit, I’m impressed.

You showed a lot of restraint last week.  Not coming on here to laugh about the Club Q shooting.  It must have been hard for you.  Since that’s what comes so naturally to you.

Oh, you were probably in Arizona at the Porta-Potty Rebellion.

      1. A lesbian walks into the doctors office. Hey doc, I’ve been having trouble sleeping. Do you have something that will help?

Doctor said a new drug has come to market. I going to write you a prescription for tricocksagain.

    2. Pfruit, you live in a democracy with regulated but mostly free markets.

Oil and Gas sells to the highest bidder. Currently oil interests sell more oil and gas overseas than in US market because??????/ PROFIT.

You might complain about Venezuelan masses coming to the US border because of the countries desperate situation.

Chevron, Conoco, Citgo all want to restart production there. I've consulted for each one of them over my career and selling oil and gas to US market is not a priority.

So drilling and expanding more oil and gas here domestically does nothing for our stability or energy independence but line big oil and gas multinationals pockets.   Oh and allow disconnected MAGA minds with a wedge issue that doesn't exist.  Want to help USA?  Get off the big oil tit.

      1. You missed the point. It’s not about oil. It’s about poor David’s beliefs that the Biden administration has some greater moral purpose in showing the world that Biden stands for diversity equity, inclusion, social justice. When the truth is Biden is only interested in whats best for Biden.

        1. Change that to: "Trump is only interested in what's best for Trump" and you will be far more accurate.

Are you charging Biden rent, since he seems to spend so much time in your head?

        2. So you believe it is immoral for Biden to reduce inflation for the American people? Reducing inflation does not undermine Biden's commitment to DEI or social justice.

        3. And the alternative??????? You realize the government is us, we, me, and yeah, you?

I don't think you are a troll I think you are sincerely confused. Snarky snappy stupid internet crap doesn't hold my gaze. Helping folks get outta their head does make sense. No one here has all the answers but for gender fluid  allah's sake whats your alternative to Brandon when all we are offered is MAGA trumpian demonstrable incompetence.

          Wow, good work Wong21fr.

    3. Pfruit,

You're in trucking, don't you understand the preferred feedstock blend for the Gulf State refineries to optimize the product slate?  Hint:  they're designed to take a higher portion of heavy sour crude and it just so happens that comes from places such as, oh, Venezuela.  Russia is another source and was largely where it came from after sanctions were put on Venezuela by Trump in 2019.

Not sure how you're going to get heavy sour out of the states as the output here is largely medium and light sweet.  But, hey, maybe you can piss in it till the sulfur content rises.

        1. You should take two of those Tricocksagain pills with a glass of heavy sour crude (sourced in the US) and come back when you're not so cantankerous (although you do provide a certain level of entertainment for everyone here with your benightedness)

  1. Turnout midterms vs Presidential. From FiveThirtyEight:

Goosing turnout has a bigger effect during the midterms. Fear and loathing are emotions that have an outsized effect, which explains Republican anger campaigns. I got some truly loathsome racist flyers. And, we see an influential Republican White Supremicist sitting down for dinner with Kanye West and Nick Fuentes.

Right now, the U.S. Election Project’s preliminary turnout figure for this year is around 46 percent of the voting-eligible population. With California still counting a lot of ballots, that’ll probably hit 47 percent. But in 2020, almost 67 percent of the VEP cast a ballot for president! So a lot of people who didn’t participate in 2022 will probably participate in 2024.

    1. US Election Project has inched the preliminary count up to 50% of Voting Eligible People.

Colorado is in 6th place when I looked yesterday, with 58.5% of VEP.  Pretty good company.

      • 61.4% – Maine
      • 61.0% – Minnesota
      • 60.9% – Oregon
      • 60.2% – Wisconsin
      • 59.0% – Michigan
