Young Candidates to Offer Insights, Answer Questions in Lakewood Tonight

Jeffco Young Dems will host several candidates aged 18-35 from the Denver Metro Area at 240 Union in Lakewood tonight. This Young Candidates Showcase offers attendees of all ages and party affiliations an opportunity to speak with and learn from people who’ve made the choice to run for office at a young age.

Attendees will include:

   Representative Dan Pabon of HD 4

   Jovan Melton, Candidate for HD 41

   Brian Carroll, Candidate for HD 28

   Dominick Moreno, Commerce City Mayor Pro Tem and Candidate for HD 32

   Andrew Bateman, Candidate for HD 41

   Brittany Pettersen, Candidate for HD 28

   Armando Valdez, Candidate for SD 35

A surrogate will speak on behalf of Jesse Ulibarri (candidate SD-1) and Republican candidate David Pigott likewise will attend if he is able to leave an earlier event in time.

The event runs from 7 PM to 9 PM and will offer free appetizers (donations gratefully accepted; suggested donation $10 for those able to give, but please come even if you do not wish to donate) and a cash bar. Attendees of all ages and party affiliations are most welcome.
