Gessler Refuses to Acknowledge Tone Deafness

Big news today when Secretary of State Gessler hired a new Chief Administrative Officer in the form of Gary Zimmerman. OK, maybe not so big news.

Gessler seems to think the pundits and chattering class will be suspicious because he knew Zimmerman in his pre-SoS professional life.

That’s not why our constantly conflicted Secretary makes us nervous. Zimmerman is straight from the Colorado Independent Auto Dealers Association. You may remember that particular group as owing more than half a million dollars in fines to the SoS. It came up during the race since Gessler was their registered agent at the time. Oh, now you remember.

Christ, Scott, give us a month off.
