Some folks stood by Dan as the weak-kneed fell by the wayside: those committed Republicans who are not swayed by questions of right or wrong, or even consideration of weak or strong, who would support their party even to the gates of Hell, which is where today’s unprincipled GOP would take us as a nation, given the chance.
Kent Lambert fell away; must have had a flash of conscience. But Maes still lists him as a supporter on his website. Maybe Kent didn’t have the heart to tell him to his face that he no longer supported what is now a vanity candidacy.
But here’s what I want to know:
all Doug Lamborn has going for him is the fact that many Republicans vote mindlessly for the (R) Candidate, regardless.
Doug is what happens when someone runs as a joke candidate, and the Republican “party first” loyalists don’t get the joke. He is the living proof that the Guv job wouldn’t get done if Maes were to be elected.
Lamborn is no longer listed on the Maes website as a supporter.
Did Lamborn withdraw his support ?
Isn’t that like saying that there’s no reason to vote for him (Lamborn,) either ?
