CNN/Time has Ken ahead by 5 and Rasmussen has him ahead by 8. Real Clear Politics still rates CO a “toss-up” but Rasmussen moved us into his “leans republican” column just hours before the absentee ballots are mailed.
Given the difference in motivation on the right and the left, I thought the polls would break right sooner. Buck’s campaign manager Swartout doesn’t care: volunteers are motivated by a close race.
In safer Democratic territory, Jon Ward at The Daily Caller is warning that the Connecticut race is moving right.
Real Clear Politics moved Nevada right then left earlier this week.
The smart money is on a Democrat controlled Senate in 2011. The margins are tightening in key races and it will take a small shift to give Republicans two more seats and control.
