Diaries of a Rubber Stamp #2

In today’s episode, Rubberstamp Man is feeling a bit better. He’s taking a positive approach to life, and doing his best to get his BFF Michael Bennet to notice him. Sadly, Mikey still won’t give him the time of day.

                1. don’t you? Used to be able to get two of ’em for $25 in Tijuana, but now that all the donkeys have been conscripted into the drug trade they’re harder to find.

  1. No, seriously, I don’t get it. So, you’ve created a mascot called Rubber Stamp Man and you film him dancing, standing around, or laying in the grass (from the first episode). Sometimes he’s on his own, sometimes he’s in crowds, but really, it’s just a minute and a half of a guy in a costume. And the overlaying message: That the stamp misses his friend, Michael Bennet, and wants Bennet to notice him?

What the fuck? This is the stupidest thing I’ve ever seen.

Basically, your story is that Rubber Stamp Man is a stalker. So, then, Bennet, who ignores the stalker, doesn’t use a rubber stamp in Washington?

    God, this is dumb.

        1. only people who think Buck is lying about literally everything will conclude what you want them to conclude.

Otherwise it doesn’t make Bennet look bad at all. Just makes the Buck campaign look like a bunch of jackasses.

          Well, moreso.

        2. I don’t think the mascot is a bad idea. I think having him appear at events or just wandering the streets could be effective. It obviously paints Bennet as a Washington insider, which I suppose is the purpose.

What I’m pointing out is the stupidity of the video. You wonder why no one is watching it? Because it’s dumb. There is no substance. No content. There is nothing to these videos. Go back out, interview a couple people with the rubber stamp man. Rip off the Obama “Change” video where people held signs up. Do something! But, seriously, this is the least effective POS video I’ve ever seen. And that’s saying something.

  2. It would explain why he’s the only person who finds these videos interesting enough to post them.

And though guy in a rubber suit is safely anonymous, I think we have a right to know if a paid Buck tool is posting here.
