Maybe it’s that Times reporters figure hey, go out there, cover a story, take a few days off in thin air, that they insist on covering our lovely Senate race over, and over, and over.
Latest is here: Colorado Senate Races Test Depth of Voter Anger http://www.nytimes.com/2010/08…
One interesting line: “Given the common policy themes, the insurgent-versus-establishment narrative has loomed large.”
So, lessee:
–SENATOR Bennet isn’t really a Senator, not for real. That’s his message, not mine. He just went to Washington as an incumbent to see how terrible the incumbents are … or somesuch.
–Senator Bennet isn’t the one who took in a few million from lobbyists and individuals with addresses in the 10017 zip code and others nearby. That was, well, ah, never mind.
–Senator Bennet isn’t the one with endorsements from other incumbents, starting with the President, the governor (MIA Bill) — is he?
Mr. Outsider. Yep, that’s our Mike. Just like Basil. Gonna clean up house, even if it does cost $300,000. Hell, that’s just interest on the dividend–and it was their loan, right? See, you gotta know how to play these things. Right? Right?
