Just like last Sunday when we asked your questions, here’s your chance to pose a few to Jane Norton this weekend. I just need your first name and I’ll do my best to get them asked. If you don’t want to post them here, feel free to email me at the station: Adam.Schrager@9News.com Thanks. –Adam

  1. How do you feel your experience as secretary of the Interior will help you represent Colorado in the Senate? And will you have time to campaign while you’re solving UNC’s financial problems?

  2. Thanks for the information! Anyway, have you heard that the actress Melissa Gilbert is currently in a role in the stage version of Little House on the Prairie.  For those that didn’t know it, Melissa Gilbert was a child actress who was in the television version of Little House on the Prairie, but this time around she’s appearing as the mother of the child she portrayed on TV.  Her sister had a central role on the sitcom Roseanne as Darlene.  Since then she’s done stage performances, a batch of TV movies, and served two terms as President of the Screen Actors’ Guild.  Evidently, Melissa Gilbert, unlike some of the more unfortunate child actors and actresses, has found ways to keep busy and away from needing payday loans.

    1. Please let your bosses know that your decision to spam this blog on behalf of your predatory industry will end badly.

It would be great for you to let us know that message was received, but unfortunately we also had to ban you. We’ll just have to trust that it was.

    1. All the conservative blogs seem to be out to sink her and the liberal and independent ones do nothing but mock her. Plus, her campaign is crawling with Beauprez for Governor operatives with bad memories of what the blogs did to him in 2006.

They’re obviously hoping to ignore the internet until it goes away.

    2. I called today and got a call right back. Yes she would like an interview and the previous phone call & email never got to anyone high up in the campaign.

So good news is there will be an interview. The bad news is they have some problems in their campaign staff.

  3. For Jane: What was it like to be a lobbyist? What was it like being married to a lobbyist? What’s it like having so many relatives who are prominent lobbyists? To show your independence, can you name one cause you lobbied for in the past that you oppose now?

  4. What legislative experience does she have that qualifies her to be a US Senator? Would she, for example, support the three DB initiatives to cut taxes/fees ?

What should be the correct US military goal in Iraq? Afghanistan? Would you support continued occupaiton in either/both?

What health care/insurance reform if any would you support?

Do you support the President’s plan for a missile shield?

Do you accept that President Obama was born in Hawaii and is a legal citizen of the US? why do you think so many people question that?

How would you fix the federal estate tax?

What do you advocate the US do about a potentially nuclear Iran? Korea?  Nuclear proliferation in general?

Do  you support allowing the states to mandate stricter clean air standards than the EPA?  Do you support extending the protections of the clean water act to fraccing fluid disclosure?

What do you believe is the appropriate role of the Senate when it comes to approving federal judges? SCOTUS Justices?

What do you believe it would take for the Republican party to return to a majority in the Senate? House? State Leg?

  5. The Guiness Book of World Records will be on hand to see if she can break the record for number of times saying words RONALD REAGAN in a 30 minute period.

    Jane is clueless.

  6. in attempting to make it through the full campaign without saying the words “liberal” “freedom” “liberty” or the phrase “shining city on a hill”?

Does she know anyone personally without health insurance?

Has she ever lived abroad? Has she ever received medical treatment of any kind outside of this country?

Who does she think enjoys higher quality of life: a French person making 40K per year or the American making the same amount?

Why does she believe the middle class shrunk and disparities in income spread under the policies of Reagan-Bush? Does she believe that’s a good thing?

How would she reform broken U.S. immigration policy?

Does she believe that trickle down economics works? If so, what is her evidence? For whom does it work?

Does she believe the free market would do a better job punishing corporate polluters than government does? Why has the free market never substantially prevented corporate pollution in the past? On the contrary, in the real world, doesn’t the free market reward polluters?

Does she believe government should have any say in matters of adult consensual sex?

Does she believe marijuana is a more dangerous drug than alcohol? Why? Has she ever been high? (Was she high when she made that campaign launch video? Just asking.)

    Etc.

    Jay.
