This week on the
Ken Buck quoted in this podcast about why Kevin McCarthy gives him the sads ( at 49:31) "Where I come from in Colorado, you are only as good as your word…"
Ken Buck doesn't come from Colorado. He was born in Ossining, New York to lawyer parents, grew up there, went to Princeton, got his law degree in Wyoming in 1985, went to work for Dick Cheney, helped him cover up Iran-Contra, and moved to Colorado and ran for elected office in 2004 when he was 45 years old.
In other words, a carpetbagging flatlander trying to come off as a rough-hewn guy from the eastern plains. Blech.
