Interesting news from the state – was bored browsing tonight and saw this tidbit:
“Announcing PEAK – a new on-line feature of the Colorado Benefits Management System (CBMS)! The Colorado Program Eligibility and Application Kit (PEAK) is now available to provide clients and community partners with a modern and easily accessible tool allowing CBMS clients to screen themselves for potential program eligibility. PEAK also allows existing CBMS clients to check their benefits on-line.”
I know CBMS has had some issues and problems so this was interesting to see.
The site is located at”

I fooled around with the eligibility screening aspect – seems like a good concept. Suprised the Denver Post hasn’t mentioned it at all. I guess they are going to allow people to submit applications starting in April. I guesss that would be an improvement over the current paper based process.
