Rep. Coffman opens war against Peace Corps

CD-6 Rep. Mike asshat Coffman comes home from China all fired up against US Peace Corps.  ThinkProgress.org has the story at GOP Rep. Declares War On Peace Corps, Demands End To Program In China.  

The takeaway is that Rep. asshat Coffman is threatening an amendment to eliminate the Peace Corp Chinese placement (which costs about $20,000 per each of the 140 volunteers) because it’s “an insult to every American taxpayer and to so many of our manufacturing workers who have lost their jobs to China.”

Seems he just got back from a funded tour/visit and was appalled to see PeaceCorps’ folk teaching English in the outer Sino regions.  WTF did he expect to see?  But hey I’m gonna take a little umbrage with asshat Coffman’s hypocrisy:

– Hey asshole Coffman weren’t your 5 votes in 2010 against extending unemployment benefits an insult to American manufacturing workers?

– Hey asshole Coffman how about votes against Clash-4-clunkers & trade-in vouchers (which would have helped our industry) an insult to American manufacturing workers?

– Hey asshole Coffman how about your votes against employment/infrastructure/transportation Appropriations wasn’t that a big FU to American manufacturing workers?

– Hey asshole Coffman how about your repeated votes against Science & Technology funding … just another FU to American workers?

– Hey asshole Coffman how about all your votes against Americorps and US Campuses of Service and National Civilian Community Corps’ and Serve America Fellowship?  Charity begins at home, but even with these you insult our citizens.

Face it, Coffman is just an asshole at home and abroad.  Let’s hope he’s redistricted out!
