Here’s an email from President Donald Trump’s re-election campaign that’s noteworthy enough to share:

I officially launched my second term presidential run on Tuesday night in front of a HUGE crowd in Orlando.

I talked about how proud I am of all we’ve accomplished over the past few years and all that we have left to do in our shared fight to Make America Great Again.

None of our incredible accomplishments would be possible without YOU.

Winning in 2020 is going to take every single patriotic American doing their part. This is truly OUR campaign, and that’s why I want YOU to play a key role in it.

I’m asking my top supporters to help advise our campaign strategy as we get ready for the most important election in American history…

The email links to a page that seems personalized and official, down to the “For Official Use Only Survey ID : 17346230” at the top to make you think you’re somebody special. But after a little jiggering with the URL, we discovered that everybody is “Survey ID : 17346230” and anybody can fill out the “exclusive top supporter survey” for the price of their name and email address. Also the “official survey’s” submit button says “Sign Card,” suggesting it was recycled from President Trump’s last birthday? All of this tends to…you know, detract from the feeling of exclusivity this is all supposed to get you interested.

With that said, if you’d like to play a “key role” in Trump’s campaign with a word of “advice,” here’s your form.
