I have the impression that there are limits on what can be done under the auspices of a political party, and so there is some incentive for a party, when conducting party business, to call this business non-partisan.
Specifically, organizers of events catering to “Tea Partiers” in El Paso County are proclaiming that their events are non-partisan, but they are really unofficial GOP activities.
Why do I say that ?
Because they will not permit Constitution Party candidates to participate in their candidate debate forum. They say that they invite the Democratic candidates to participate, but I don’t even know if I can believe that.
.
.
Do you think they are doing this to circumvent some regulation of the Secretary of State ?
Or is this just to trick the Tea Party activists into thinking that there is no alternative to the corporate-owned GOP ?
