Hey fellow Polsters, this post is a bit off-message for me, but I had to share this amazing short video on racial profiling (produced by ABC). Watch this, gain some cultural insight, and be saddened that we remain somewhat primitive. The video was recently shared on Facebook by Progressive Outreach – Colorado.

Hey Algernon, good video. Indeed, we're still quite primitive in many ways. For example, a temporary economic downturn (and, "primitive" pension envy) is used as an opportunity to breach retiree benefit contracts which were supposed to protect deferred compensation earned over a lifetime … so much for honoring our elders. Does "primitive" politics trump contracts in Colorado? The Colorado Supreme Court is presently agonizing over this question?
Yep, good one. Asking African American doctors and such who live in upscale neighborhoods whether they've been stopped jogging or their sons have been stopped while driving Dad's expensive car can be very instructive, too. You will find that many African American professionals have taught their teen age sons never to be seen running down a street. Black guy running is still most often immediately connected to something scary.
