"Libs, if you get them in a sterile environment, are obsessed with people dying. That's why they worry about global warming. It's also why they worry about whether or not you eat oat bran."

Of all the bills presently up to reduce gun violence, the magazine limit is the one that legislators will most likely see a specific savings of lives (if they pass it) or additional people murdered if they don't. Why?
There will be more mass shootings in this state. The laws this year will reduce the likelyhood, but they won't eliminate them. But when it happens, if the law is passed and the shooter is limited to 15 rounds, lives will be directly saved due to the bill. And the legislators who voted for it will be thanked for the reduction in deaths.
And if the magazine limit bill is not passed and the next shooter has the mass-murder 50 or 100 clip magazines? Then every legislator who voted against the bill will be left wondering how many of the people killed would still be alive if they had voted for it. That would be a rough thing to live with.
What the front is going on?!
Housing is up, the Dow has doubled in four years, and a <a href="http://finance.yahoo.com/news/steady-job-gains-seen-bolstering-050326261.html">solid jobs report</a>?
I thought the economy was going to hell if we re-elected the socialist guy.
That said, we gotta fix the ACA (got to shft the cost curve); gotta get out of AfPak (there is no "win"); gotta put North Korea on a different track, fix immigration, Syria/Iran, CO2, figure out TBTF, come up with a rational, fact based standard fro fracking, fix Medicare, and stop violent crime with justice and equality for all.
