A happy ending for former House Minority Leader and CD-3 contender Sal Pace:
“While I am humbled by the outpouring of support, Pueblo County has many challenges ahead. My top priority as Commissioner is to create an environment that is conducive to job creation here in Pueblo County,” said Pace. “We need to build an economy from the ground up, make access to capital easier for small business owners, and focus on bringing back jobs that provide livable wages with proper benefits. A strong economy also means we need to focus on education and ensuring we are preparing our children to work in a 21st century economy. I look forward to working with the remaining two members of the board, but most importantly, I look forward to working with the residents of Pueblo County to ensure we are moving in the proper direction.”
Pace was appointed by a vacancy committee to fill the seat previously held by Jeff Chostner, who was elected the 10th Judicial District Attorney in November 2012.
Pace joins another former Democratic legislator, Liane “Buffie” McFadyen on the Pueblo County Commissioners board with former Pueblo County party chairman Terry Hart.

I’m not especially familiar with Hart, but McFadyen and Pace were both outstanding public servants during their time in the legislature.
pee-pee remark from ‘tad.
Perhaps Libby had a Saul on the road to Damascus moment on Saturday?
If I were a GOPer, it would have sunk in by now that I had lost. Deservedly.
But I ain’t a GOPer…
