While Mitt Romney was getting roundly excoriated from the left, right and middle for his insensitive, tone-deaf and unstatesmanlike statements about the Libyan tragedy, Mike Coffman here locally was branding the killings an “act of war.”
War? By whom exactly? Who does he want us to strike back at exactly?
I hope someone asks this bellicose Congressman this question. After all, we have been told that Libyan security forces were fighting with Americans against the attack, and Libya’s government has apologized for it.
Is Coffman saying we should, say, bomb Tripoli?
Does he really know WHAT the heck he is saying?
Should he maybe consider doing what Romney failed to do: keep his yap shut while the situation remains in flux?
