Let Me Shake The Etch-a-Sketch and Get Back With You

Chris Moody writes for Yahoo! News–wow:

The Republican National Committee is making efforts to target Hispanic voters in key swings states in preparation for the November presidential election, and by their own admission, they’re still working out some of the kinks.

When asked during a meeting with reporters Tuesday how Republicans plan to convince Hispanics that their platform on immigration is better than the Democratic plan, RNC National Hispanic Outreach Coordinator Bettina Inclan declined to answer because, she said, Mitt Romney is “still deciding what his position on immigration is.”

“I think, as a candidate, to my understanding, that he’s still deciding what his position on immigration is, so I can’t talk about what his proposal is going to be because I don’t know what Romney exactly,” Inclan said. “He’s talked about different issues. What we saw in the Republican primary is that there’s a very diverse opinion on how to deal with immigration, so, I can’t talk about something if I don’t know what the position is.”

You might want a better answer to this question as the Hispanic Outreach Coordinator.

  1. new and improved Republican position on Hispanic immigrants – kind of like a surprise birthday party – you might have a feeling something great is coming but you just don’t know yet what it is!!

          1. is not available for use by illegals.

they have to first return to their home country, stand trial in line and mail their request with correct foreign postage.

And I forgot all about the convenience fee. But you’re right – that should never be waived.  How else would we fund higher ed?

  2. “Goodness.

The grass is the right color for this time of year and I need someone to mow my lawns.

The trees are almost the right height and I need someone to prune them.

I’m not concerned about the very poor. We have a safety net there. And, Ann’s Cadillacs need washing.”

  3. how can this million dollar campaign staff continue to fuck this up?  Are they really this unprepared to speak for their boss?

She says, “I think as a candidate, to my understanding, he’s still deciding what his position on immigration is.” fuxsake Mitten’s own folks won’t even read his position papers?  He’s been gunning for this since ’07 but is he such a weasel that his own staff can’t nail it down?
