46%-37% It’s too bad this had to happen at the same time as Tancredo’s announcement, but significant none the less. Yes, this is a Magellan poll, but comparing it to previous Magellan polls gives a good indication of the dynamics of the race.

Interesting findings of the survey:
Buck has a fairly solid lead in all categories, but does slightly better with men than women (+11 vs. +7). This poll was taken yesterday, so the “high heels” hubbub may not have come into play yet. Buck is heavily favored by those under 45, but for some reason also does well with those 55-65 (+9).
Buck is viewed positively by 52% and negatively by 23% – those attacks by Norton don’t seem to be working. Buck is trending upward slightly less quickly than Norton but looks to hit 50% first.
