Let me first say that I really like the Denver Daily. Its free, and they have some good stories, and some interesting writers on local sports and the local scene.
But the DD has the nasty habit of printing drivel from the Independence Institute.
I am not sure how often, but it seems like I pick the paper up twice a week or more, and about 60 or 70 percent of the time, the featured opinion piece is from one Indep Inst lackey or another.
Today’s incoherent musings imply that none other than George Washington would not only oppose Obama, and health care reform, but would also support screaming mobs at congressional town halls.
Read it for yourself at http://www.thedenverdailynews….
Its ridiculous and incoherent, and this former English Prof is not going to dissect it here.
I just want to know what is going on?
Does the II have a special relationship with the DD?
If not, then it seems that local liberal groups should start submitting content to the DD. Why let them dominate the opinion page of this widely circulated local organ?
