Dp, I'd say choice #3 "still infighting in the CRP, and don't care about their own caucus" is the correct choice.
Having no voice in early nomination is the price COGOP activists will willingly pay for ideological Tea Party purity; they were determined not to be bound to vote for a "moderate" Bush or Walker.
Ironically, their party will probably nominate Trump with or without their help. Snerk.
