PSA: Last Day to Mail In Your Ballot

  •
  • by: Colorado Pols

Folks, no matter who you’re supporting for Mayor (or Clerk, or City Council, etc…) we can’t stress how important it is that you get your ballot in. After all, after such a prolonged election, it only makes sense that you get your say on who gets to govern Denver next.

If you are planning on mailing in your ballot, you need to mail it today to make sure it gets delivered on time. So fill it out if you haven’t already and drop it in any mailbox that hasn’t been picked up yet and your vote will be counted by mail.

If you aren’t able to mail your ballot today, don’t panic, but don’t put it in the mail. Instead, take your completed ballot to any number of voter service centers around the city. You can see the complete list on the Denver Clerk and Recorder’s website. We’ve reproduced that list below as well. No need to worry, though. If you haven’t returned your ballot, we’re sure there’s hundreds of campaign staffers who’ll be pestering you from now until Tuesday.

The best lesson, then, is that if you don’t want to be continually harrassed, turn your ballot in. Got that? Vote early, and vote often, folks.

There will be 13 full-service Voter Service Centers across Denver for the convenience of voters. At a service center, voters can drop off their ballot, obtain a replacement for a lost or spoiled ballot, complete an emergency registration affidavit, or request a ballot if they have not received one. The five locations in bold will have a drive-through ballot drop-off. Hours are listed below.
