    1. in this, Mr. Librarian, I'd take your paranoid delusions fueled by the Hate Radio Racists whom you love so dearly as an excellent Plan B.

Are exploding heads covered by Obamacare?

    2. You're so boring, AC. Isn't a troll supposed to stir things up, not send everyone into a deep, deep sleep? The only way I'm going to be able to stay awake is by scrolling past you as quickly as possible. Buh-bye.

  1. Thems really hatesss the EPA, hence we have Stupid Republican Pet Tricks #8,456,219:

If you need any more evidence that knee-jerk obstructionism has ravaged infected (my update.-z) the modern Republican Party, here’s one more data point: Twenty-one of the the 27 states suing the EPA to prevent implementation of its Clean Power Plan, requiring cuts in carbon emissions, are already on track to meet the plan’s requirements.

R's don't want government to work for the majorities of their constituents. They want big business to have its way and are determined to cut enforcement, eliminate laws and rules, or simply defund an agency in order to get their way.

Our Dear Cindy will do well as a Republican in Colorado:

Cynthia Coffman, attorney general of Colorado, said her state’s likely ability to comply with the CPP’s mandate “truly is not the issue.”

We don’t have anything against clean air,” Coffman said. “That really doesn’t factor into my decision to say the federal government has gone beyond its legal authority.”

I'm sure all her Oil and Gas Extractor friends got a good huff out of that one. Of course, she doesn't have anything against clean air, but if the direct result of our chronic addiction to burning fossil fuels, and the hardcore greed of that Colorado industry, is dirty air, so be it.

    1. If that is true, then either the issue is moot or there is no legitimate case and controversy. The trial court should step up to the bar and dismiss Colorado from the lawsuit. Oh, and award attorney's fees against Coffman individually.

  2. Apparently Omarosa has the same misunderstanding of the role of President under the Constitution that her boss does and the same ignorance of what our Constitution says and WTF it means to be an American, such as never having to "bow down" to anyone.

Every critic, every detractor, will have to bow down to President Trump. It’s everyone who’s ever doubted Donald, who ever disagreed, who ever challenged him. It is the ultimate revenge to become the most powerful man in the universe.

    1. So there you have it from Omarosa (I recall her on the early Apprentice as one of the most divisive and hated of the candidates that season).  Trump is running for President for vengence!  So he can smite his enemies!  Makes sense — why else would a infantile megalomaniac run for President?

(sort of reminds me of the Star Trek episode "The Squire of Gothos")

  3. Funny how AC has no answer to my post in yesterday's open thread about Mark Cuban's opinion of Trump and why he has endorsed Hillary. Guess low information Trump supporters like AC and Moderatus are afraid of salient facts. But then it's hard to call these guys real conservatives either.

C.H.B.   (Proud to be a RAT!! — Republican Against Trump)

        1. So when Trump is convicted on multiple counts of criminal fraud, will he star in "Orange is the New Black: Trump Edition?”

Or are you betting he'll just pardon himself if elected?

          1. Don't expect an answer from Andrew. He seems to be strictly a hit and run type of guy. Besides, Davie, you're confusing him with facts about corrupt Donald.

      1. Its true that farmers rely on exports and would be badly mauled by Trump protectionism.  But antitrade radicals now control the Democcratic party as well, as your own frequent rants against TPP demontrate.  The only real hope is for moderate Democrats like Bennet to join Republicans in passing TPP in the lame duck session.  Hillary wont try to pass a trade bill until her second term, since she caved in to the antitrade left in the primaries.

Since both parties are antifarmer now, farmers might as well vote for wHho ever promises them the biggest subsidies in the name of cutting back big government.  I know that isnt logical, but it is a tradiction.

        1. One… opposing TPP as written, as HRC does, does not equate with "must stop all trade" no matter how many times you say it, V dear.

Second, my feeling is a more general one.  Many R demos, including Colorado farmers, stopped voting in their own economic interests as they ought to perceive them based on anything rational a long time ago and will vote for any R over any Dem because "freedom", "baby killers", Dems will take away all my guns, turn my kids gay, destroy families, outlaw Christianity and kill the institution of marriage and Obama is a Muslim foreigner who hates white people and loves terrorists!  USA! USA!

          1. BC Your What's the matter with Kansas points are valid.  But Dave Barnes specifically mocked farmers, who rely on exports, for voting for the protectionist Trump.  It is a fact that for the last 20 years the Republican Party has been far more open to trade than the Democratic and that Trump is the exception to the rule.  Thus, any farmer who voted for Hillary solely because TRump is anti-trade would be jumping from the frying pan into the fire.  There are. A multitude of reasons to prefer Hillary over Trump.  Trade is not one of them.   On that, Trump might be slightly better because he would probably double cross his antitrade base to please his business overlords, especially in a second term.

            1. Dems have been pro-business, pro-trade centrists for a very long time now, certainly the Clinton and Obama administrations have, which between them account for 16 years worth of policy, though the tide is turning in a somewhat different but certainly not in a "must stop all trade" direction…. but never mind.

No sense in having this same old, same old argument.

Bottom line… everyone who votes R and who is not at least in the top 1% (more like the top .1%) has been voting against their own economic interests for decades.

              1. Thaht simply isnt true for farmers, bc.  Ask mike bowman for his list of the staggering subsidies paid to eastern colorado farmers.  Right wing congressmen like ken buck need fleets of mack trucks to carry all the taxpayer cash to their right wing constituents.  Remember, it isn't welfare if the money goes to old white guys.  Republican farmers may be hypocrites but they know how to rake in taxpayer cash.

          2. Some supporting narrative, BC.

10-20-30, Black Caucus May Have Finally Found Partner on Poverty: Paul Ryan

One of those poorest communities is that of Kentucky’s 5th congressional district.  Congressman Hal Rogers, who is Chairman of the House Appropriations Committee, has presided over the district for over two decades.  Kentucky’s 5th district is the second poorest in America, it is also the whitest (98 percent) congressional districts in the U.S.

The subject of poverty, and 10-20-30 specifically, has been talked about many times before as Reps. Lee and Jim Clyburn (D-SC) have pushed the “10-20-30” poverty plan.  That plan would commit 10 percent of federal resources to 20 percent of the population that has lived below the poverty line for the past 30 years or more.  Such a plan would target mostly white counties in America, many of them in GOP congressional districts.

    1. When is the media going to point out all the evidence that Trump is actually running for President as his most recent scam for creating cash flow while pretending to be a brilliant multi-billionaire business man? He's so obviously not.

What he is is a brilliant self promoting, plate spinning con artist and he's spinning as fast as he can to generate enough cash flow to keep up the pretense. That's it. That's all. There is no "there" there.

He has no qualifications, not even actual business acumen, for the job. His business acumen consists of a combination of cons and creative serial bankruptcy, not very useful in managing or "making deals" for a nation's budget or economy even if a President got to do that without reference to congress.

Media coverage of this giant orange fraud makes those of us with eyes to see and an ounce of common sense feel like that lone little boy in "The Emperor's New Clothes", for God sake!

    1. Nothing Trump says or does will gag AC or Modster. They think speaking about and treating people with respect is just silly political correctness. Heck, they even cheer Trump  when he brags that he won't be constrained by the silly pack of politically correct nonsense the rest of us refer to as the Constitution.

On the off chance that AC responds, at this point why not just ignore it? That's my plan. If ever a troll deserved to be starved…. anyway, we know what he'll say.  Since I said "Constitution" he's sure to counter with some… oh yeah, what about Dems repealing the second amendment…. nonsense.

      1. BC

I like the Constitution.  Well thought through recipe for government.

I don't like people who sign up to support it and the laws passed pursuant to it and represent the people, and then get rich by selling access and government favors.

It now turns out that not only was Hillary breaking the public records laws by her illegal server to cover up what she was doing (30,000 emails about Yoga and a wedding?) but Obama was communicating with her using his own fake email account.  So much for the most transparent administration ever.
