New Political Ads Flooding the Zone Ahead of Primary Election

WEDNESDAY UPDATE: Democrat Manny Rutinel drops a new ad in the race for CO-08.

—–

Back in April, we highlighted some of the first campaign ads of the 2026 election cycle. With mail ballots for the Primary Election starting to drop on June 8, the digital and television airwaves are starting to get crowded.

Here’s a look at the newest spots floating around; drop any links we missed in the comments below…

Senator John Hickenlooper (D-Denver) is out with his first big digital and TV ad of the cycle as he looks to win the Democratic nomination for re-election:

Former State Rep. Shannon Bird dropped her second TV spot for CO-08 about a week ago:

Attorney General Phil Weiser launched his second big ad for Governor two weeks ago:

Weiser’s campaign is also running this negative ad about Sen. Michael Bennet:

Here’s Sen. Michael Bennet’s first major spot in his bid for Governor:

Rocky Mountain Way, the Independent Expenditure Committee (IEC) backing Bennet for Governor, dropped this negative ad against Weiser:

Fighting for Colorado, the IEC supporting Weiser, started running this ad today:
