UPDATE: Campaign Finance Numbers from Q1 2026

March 31 was the final day of the first fundraising quarter of 2026. Campaigns aren’t required to disclose their fundraising numbers until April 15, but some are already making their quarterly haul public.

Until the official numbers are reported, we’ll keep a running list here that we’ll update as we see new totals announced. The most recent news is listed first.

Huge Quarter from Eileen Laubacher

Democrat Eileen Laubacher’s campaign for Congress in CO-04 says it raised an astonishing $2.1 million in the first three months of the year. However, the campaign entered April with more than $3 million cash-on-hand, which indicates a pretty high burn rate.

Phil Weiser Breaks Fundraising Record

According to a press release, the Phil Weiser for Governor campaign has set a new record for the most money raised by a candidate for state office in Colorado history. Weiser raised $950,000 in the first three months of the year, giving him a total of $5.6 million raised thus far (eclipsing the $5.4 million raised by then-Gov. John Hickenlooper in 2014). The press release from Weiser’s campaign did not indicate a cash-on-hand amount as of March 31.

Jessica Killin Raises $665,000

The Democrat seeking to unseat incumbent Republican Rep. Jeff Crank in CO-05 announced that her campaign raised more than $665,000 in the first three months of the year, continuing what has been the strongest fundraising performance from a Democrat in the history of the Colorado Springs-area district. According to a press release, Killin ended Q1 with more than $1.5 million in the bank and has now raised a total of $2.3 million this election cycle.

Manny Rutinel Just Misses $1 Million

Democrat Manny Rutinel continued his strong fundraising in his campaign for Congress in CO-08. Rutinel’s campaign announced that he raised more than $950,000 in Q1, ending the quarter with $1.75 million in the bank and a total of $3.45 million raised for the cycle.
