that hardly anyone uses the word “Hispanic” anymore to refer to the Latino community.
I usually describe myself as “Hispanic” rather than “Latino,” unless I’m speaking Spanish. Not out of preference, just habit.
The point isn’t that everyone was going to show up nor that those listed in the announcement were going to be there.
The point is that those listed in the announcement were willing to believe there were Hispanic Republicans in Denver metro that could show up.
See, faith and belief are more important than actually showing up. And that’s the point. Oh, and that the pastor at St Thomas Moore was willing to meet with the household and yard staff of his congregation outside the church is kinda big, ’cause he sure isn’t going to see them at STM.
Pols just photoshopped them out because they are biased
but they were on the east side of the Capitol. Rumor has it there was a mistake in the press release which said the rally was gonna be on the east side.
Statistically speaking, 75% of those folks are most likely wandering tourists who stopped by to see what all the quiet was about.
I guess many “Hispanic Republicans” will want to deport me because I decided to title the subject of this reply in Spanish!
