Hick takes Weed Money and Denounces Weed....

How do I know Hick took weed money?  The fundraiser was at my restaurant with Medical Marijuana business owners and patients.

Gov. John Hickenlooper announced today he is opposing Amendment 64, Colorado’s marijuana legalization measure which seeks to regulate and tax marijuana like alcohol and will on the Nov. 6 ballot.

Gov. John Hickenlooper Opposes Legal Weed: ‘Colorado Is Known For Many Great Things, Marijuana Should Not Be One Of Them

I am in shock that a man that makes and sells alcohol would be brazen enough to make that statement. I guess selling a drug that kills 75,000 people per year and destroys thousands  of lives is better thing for Colorado to be known for.

Mighty Republican of you, Hick.

Governor Hickenlooper’s statement today ranks as one of the most hypocritical statements in the history of politics,” Tvert said. “After building a personal fortune by selling alcohol to Coloradans, he is now basing his opposition to this measure on concerns about the health of his citizens and the message being sent to children

.

Hick is also supporting racist policies by allowing law enforcement to racially target Blacks.

African Americans made up roughly 4% of the population in Colorado in 2010, but they accounted for about 9% of marijuana possession arrests and 22% of arrests for marijuana sales and cultivation. The numbers in Denver are particularly staggering. According to a report prepared by the Denver Police Department for the the city’s Marijuana Policy Review Panel, African-Americans accounted for more than 31.5% percent of arrests for private adult marijuana possession, despite making up less than 11% of the city’s population.

I  am sick of Democrats, who receive well over 95% of Black vote, act like the drug reform is not their problem.

  1. because we wouldn’t want Colorado held up as an example of creating over 6000 jobs, adding millions to the economy and bringing sustainable industrial grade hemp farms to our great state without one dollar of government assistance. I am just shocked at his shortsightedness.

      1. Then you should cofound the replace Hick effort….nah, just joking. He’s your leader in Colorado, superior to Udall, Bennett, Hancock, Ritter, Stryker, Polis, Carroll, Gill, Ferandino, etc….

What I really want to know is this …. Is weed a drug or equal to alcohol? You know … should it be regulated and taxed as a medicine or treated and taxed like booze?

I think what you don’t understandi is this …. millions$ have been invested in weed health shops by your friends so that you have a place to get a faux medical licence and monthly gross purchase fixes.

        1. haven’t a fucking clue. Why don’t you leave the discussion to people with more than a double digit IQ? If I thought you were actually seeking education on the subject, I might try to explain it to you. But I know you are not.

Why don’t you go look for elbee? and when you find him…stay there.

        2. I know in America this is a tough concept to grasp.  But the benefits of Cannabis are huge with people experiencing pain, nausea and other issues.  And obviously, it is also used as way to relax, enjoy friends or music.

I can understand that western healing requires a drug to be bad with many side effects, but that is the wonder of cannabis, no side effects.   Well, very little side effects.  And one of the side effects just happens to make you giggle.  If oxycontin’s only side effect was uncontrolled giggling, would it be a drug of something else?

So, should it be treated as a drug? Yes.  Should it be available like alcohol? Yes.  A64 will allow for medical marijuana and recreational marijuana.

          1. you mean it’s possible for something to be . . .  something? . . . and, then, also to be another something?

Whoah!  Forget America, this is surely gonna’ fill that empty Libertad cranial cavity with some smoke.
