Polis Sharing the Wealth Again

Jared Polis has established another fund which will allow him to assist Democrats around the country in their campaigns for house seats.

The Jared Polis Majority Fund has been registered with the Federal Election Committee and will initially help Democrats in a dozen races around the country.  Betsey Markey is among those who will be helped.

Polis is playing it smart if he wants to work his way up the foodchain in house leadership.

Here is a link to the story at CQ Politics.

  1. He knows that he’s going to say and do things that don’t sit well with either the Democratic establishment (such as his wholly unpopular health care talking points gleamed from Republican floor speeches) or the voters.

His massive fund raising ability has the ability to make people forget about that–especially his Democratic colleagues in Congress. It doesn’t really have any effect on the voters, but seeing as Rep. Polis isn’t changing his affiliation or donating his fortune to charity any time soon, he’s just fine in CD-2 too.

    1. .

Money is for spending.  You can’t take it with you, I’ve heard.

One must do what good one can while one can.  That applies to all of us.

      .

    1. Maybe someone should remind Polis that all politics is local!  Rove and other Republicans seem to understand that, and Dems need to counter at the statehouse level.
