At Least He's Not Your Deputy

This news is from the county (and town) where my parents live:

A sheriff’s deputy in Adair County, Kentucky, was looking around a new county judicial center, when he accidentally locked himself in a jail cell. It gets worse because the deputy suffers from claustrophobia. His boss says the deputy pulled out his gun and tried to shoot his way out of the cell. The deputy lost his job because of the damage to the new jail.

My dad tells me that the court clerk told him “Well, at least we know our new jail is bulletproof.”

Adair County voted overwhelming for Jim Bunning, but dad tells me he has fallen quickly out of favor.  They’re all about Rand Paul these days.
