The upcoming election will be stolen by the Republicans.
First, poll taxes. Because that’s what all those new voter ID laws are, plain and simple. They require people to pay to vote: to pay to get an ID card, not even counting the time folks have to take off work to get the cards.
These modern-day poll taxes are plainly meant to suppress voter turnout in favor of Romney and the Republicans. Republicans have even admitted that in unguarded moments.
Second, corrupt and secret financing of ads that are candidate endorsements in anything but name. We are already seeing the onslaught of billionaire-financed ads from Romney’s and Boehner’s shadowy overlords. They claim to be “charitable organizations” in order to escape having to tell the people who they really are.
It’s corruption, theft and – not to put too fine a word on it – TREASON of the highest order.
If Romney and Republicans win this election by a few percentage points, rest assured it’ll be because they’ve corruptly and treasonously stolen it from the people.
And in that case, We the People need to start figuring out how to – as the Tea Party says – “Take Back our Country.”
