Desperation Move for Beauprez Camp?

UPDATE: Nothing happened this morning at 9:30. The only people who showed up at the State Capitol were a Denver Post reporter and a couple of people from Colorado Media Matters. Apparently this was just another wild rumor from TotheRight.

As TotheRight reports, Bob Beauprez’s campaign has apparently found the widow of a man who was allegedly killed in a traffic accident involving Bill Ritter decades ago in Africa. The woman will appear at a news conference at the state capitol in what TotheRight correctly calls a huge political gamble.

If this is true, this could be a potentially devastating move…for Beauprez. No matter how the Beauprez camps spins this, to the public this is is likely going to look like a pretty disgusting political maneuver.
