The problem is not near as much slow loading and comments, as the failure to update the site on a timely basis, and to stay in touch with what’s going on in Colorado politics. On the important stuff, it appears quicker on Taegan Goddard than it does your site.
Hey guys — I’ve been trying to post for a week — each time I do, it never appears on the blog, but if I try and repost, it tells me that it looks like a duplicate posting. I just figured that you’d blown my cover and didn’t want my opinion any longer 🙂
I will have to disagree with dangreen. The page loads and reloads way too slow, much slower than many sites I use that have many more graphics, etc. I’m sure glad I no longer have to use a phone modem. A suggestion I will make is that there be a method that a commenter can initiate discussion on a particular topic. I have really gained insight in the past from the Q&A with particular candidates and would like to see that expanded.
I will say thank you to Colorado Pols for taking on such a thankless task.
