Gabe Evans' Talking Points Sound Different With a Bit of Context

Congressman Gabe Evans (R-Ft. Lupton) was interviewed allowed to spew nonsense in a recent sit down with Nexstar Media. Evans has been promoting parts of his interview on social media in which he credits ICE enforcement efforts for a drop in crime in Colorado.

For anyone who has been paying attention to the news in 2025, Gabe’s comments are absolute nonsense. As a public service to Coloradans and voters in the eighth congressional district, we thought it might help to add a little context to the clip being promoted by Evans.
