Thoughts on the Assassination of Brian Thompson:
Is it worse/better if he was killed by ambitious employees or disgruntled customers?
The assassin's backpack was a Peak Design Everyday Backpack in Coyote.
The Warwick Hotel has a Viet restaurant.
Did they check the cop cot? I feel if I was escaping through Central Park on a bike I would do one lazy circle around it.
The slain United Healthcare CEO and associates dumped 9 digits worth of stock before the public knew of a Dept. of Justice antitrust investigation into the company. Not saying he deserved to be murdered, of course. But don't worry, I still blindly trust private sector oligarchs to run the country and do things in the best interests of its citizens.
I knew he was being investigated for insider trading, 2Jung, but hadn’t heard the details. Crooked summbitch! Now I’m mad that he didn’t survive to get what was coming to him from a jury.
I don't buy all this shit about the shooter being a professional hitman. Unfortunately there are literally millions of Americans with a motive. Was somebody's grandma's claim denied? Until they find the perp we'll never know.
Good question, B.S. When I read about the assassination this morning online, the first thought I had was the Denzel Washington film John Q. Did the gunman's relative die because the insurance company denied treatment?
professional hitman isn't stopping by starbucks on the way to a hit
"Michael Fassbinder wearing a forensic clean suit kind of professional" assassin? Definitely not. "Someone with either a military background or a someone with some serious range time" assassin? Definitely!
Teh interwebz is reporting that when he tried to shoot the CEO from behind his pistol jammed, and he calmly cleared the weapon before finishing off his victim. He also had a pretty clear escape route planned, which took him to Central Park where he had lots of cover and concealment to drop his shooter outfit for whatever teh F**k he wanted to change into to complete his escape.
This isnt a guy who got hyped up on the web and ran out the door with a half-assed plan. This was a pretty effective in-and-out assassination.
Other details … ” wounds to his back and right calf” … don’t recall those being prime targets in all of the books I’ve read or movies I’ve seen featuring a hitman.

The backpack was found in Central Park on Friday, three days after the shooting.
