So Pols, why haven't you moved her numbers up dramatically in the Big Line?
Peters will get that same 35 -40% support from the Qaucus even while serving her jail term. Remember when Republicans were the “Law and Order” party? I miss those days.

Probably too soon to ask all the candidates for Governor the hypothetical: if Peters is elected and convicted, would they pardon her so she could serve?

Under the Colorado speedy trial statute, the court must offer her a trial date within six months of the date of her arraignment.
However, a defendant can waive the six-month deadline and ask for more time for good cause. If the defendant waives, then the six-month time period starts to run anew from the date of the waiver. There are also various circumstances under which the six-month time period can tolled.
Yet the CO republican party will still let Tina run for SoS, because they have no one else.
