Ron Hanks is Back, Baby!

We know, we know: It totally does seem like Republican Ron Hanks has been around FOR-EV-ER. But his 2024 campaign for Congress in CO-03 is only his third campaign in the last three election cycles (State House in 2020, U.S. Senate in 2022).

Hanks has been doing some real thinking since we last saw him getting pummeled in the 2022 Republican Senate Primary. While “2022 Ron Hanks” may have been a masterclass in MAGA nuttery, “2024 Ron Hanks” is moving this up to whole new level…

[Cue Movie Trailer Guy voice] And this time, it’s personal!

Alright, we’re going to try to be serious for a moment. Seriously.

Hanks decided to run for Congress in CO-03 after Rep. Lauren Boebert boogied 400 miles across the state to run in CO-04 instead. He was apparently about as excited over fellow Republican Jeff “Bread Sandwich” Hurd as everyone else. Hanks lost to Joe O’Dea by about 8 points in the race for the Republican nomination for U.S. Senate in 2022; where Hanks fell behind O’Dea is important, however. O’Dea beat Hanks by outperforming him along the more populous Front Range (particularly in Denver, Arapahoe, and Jefferson counties). Hanks actually won more votes than O’Dea in CO-03, so there is real reason to think that he can win a Republican Primary in the same district two years later.

The lesson that Hanks took from 2022 was apparently that he needed to go MORE MAGA in the future. Check out this flyer that Hanks has been circulating to Republican caucus-goers (Hanks is not collecting petitions, so his only way onto the Primary ballot is through the assembly process):

The QR code at the bottom on the right — after the phrase “Ron investigated the US-Mexico border in 2018, 2021, & 2024” — leads to this page on Hanks’s campaign website that is pretty fantastic if you’re into unintentional comedy. The page is an open letter from Hanks to…um, to whoever would read such a letter. It is about his three visits to the U.S.-Mexico border and what he learned from talking to various random people, dogs, and piles of trash.

The text gets increasingly unhinged the longer you read, but kudos for the phrase “transformational alien immigration”:

And so it is with transformational alien immigration. The federal government is willing to report that 6 million persons have been processed and paroled into the country since Joe Biden entered the White House. But reports from inside the government indicate it may be as high as 22 million.

If census numbers are accurate, we are a nation of 330 million people. If 22 million people have come into this country, that is nearly 7% of the American population. If the number is only 6 million, that is still a number larger than the population of 33 individual states. “Sanctuary” cities like Denver are buckling under the weight of 40,000 immigrants from this fiasco. As more of these millions are moved throughout the country, rural areas (like Congressional District 3) are likely places for thousands to be dropped off. [Pols emphasis]

This surge of migration and infiltration was completely avoidable. It is obvious the corrupt Deep State and Biden’s handlers wanted it. Speaker Mike Johnson noted on the floor of the US House that Biden “orchestrated” this crisis. When the Biden Regime broadcast its intent to allow a flood of immigrants granted entrance and immediate parole, the whole world got the message, including our enemies. And it is a rogue government when it “orchestrates” the delivery of thousands of paroled immigrants in the dead of night into neighborhoods so Americans remain unaware. [Pols emphasis]

As a military intelligence professional for 32 years, my foremost concern is the high number of military-age males now in our country from countries that are hostile to the United States. These could be sleeper agents now embedded in the country by the thousands, tens of thousands, even hundreds of thousands. To think there is no significant risk, or to ignore the risks of such an invasion is a dereliction of duty, even treasonous. From where I stand, Judas Joe Biden sold us out for the approval of his masters, for personal wealth, and political power. Politics is all Joe Biden has ever known – other than extorting money and bribing foreign entities…

…Judas Joe has intentionally destroyed the fabric of this nation, likely at the behest of others, so that socialist policies of the World Economic Forum, the World Health Organization, and the United Nations can supersede the laws of the United States and the US Constitution. [Pols emphasis] He has enriched himself and his family through crooked business dealings with communist China and Ukraine. He has done the bidding of unelected bureaucrats, Big Tech, Big Pharma, and corporate oligarchs.

This country needs a reset, but it must not be the reset Biden’s superiors at the WEF envision. You’ll remember that one: “You will own nothing, and be happy.”

TL;DR: America is being overrun by illegal immigrants from the southern border who will soon be settling in CO-03 on account of Joe Biden initiating a new world order for his overlords at the World Economic Forum and the United Nations, yada, yada…

It will be fascinating to see if Hanks can generate support from the same group of Republicans who voted Boebert into Congress in 2020 and grew tired of her antics by 2023. Hanks has all of Boebert’s crazy without any of her natural charisma; but the latter does make it less likely that Hanks will end up doing what ended Boebert’s career in CO-03: Chasing D-List celebrity fame instead of, you know, doing the actual job of a Member of Congress.

And if this type of material is just the beginning of what Hanks has to say to Republican voters in the district…well, you can color us excited to see what he comes up with next.
