As for the Rocky’s “in-depth” analysis, I’d be careful about anything authored by Sprengelmeyer. He’s the chap who recently used the term “D-Denver” when describing Senator Ken Salazar.
I had no idea about that bank thing – where he supposedly cheated some lady out of her stock? ouch.
Jesus, BB comes out smelling bad and looking pretty unethical, no way around it. The bank story, the golf course (Jesus, don’t even try to explain that one away–I live near a golf course and courses are designed to ensure golf balls are hit AWAY from your home, not near it.)
Using Sprengelmeyer as an excuse would possibly hold merit if this article hadn’t been authored by four people instead of one.
I don’t care so much about the flight suit or medical deferment–heard that one before, many, many times. Both stories have a faint whiff of desperation to them but the other two stories? Holtzman would be wise to just keep trotting them out everywhere he goes because being an unethical sleazebag is way more captivating than flip flopping on a vote or playing “Maverick” for a day.
