This will be a close race, but the fact that Democrat Andy Kerr was political tone deaf enough to make himself the lead plaintiff to overturn TABOR, in an election year, will tip the scale in favor of Republican Ken Summers. With RTD seeking more money for Fastracks and Jeffco Schools trying to float another bond issue in November, voters will be ripe to vote “no” on any proposed tax increase and do whatever it takes to defend TABOR, including casting out its main political opponent.
