  1. What happens when the budget ax becomes possessed?

It seems that in Trenton, NJ the cost cutting measures got out of hand and now they have a toilet paper crisis, a paper towel crisis, even a Dixie cup shortage.

Paper towel and toilet paper dispensers in the city senior centers, police department, fire department, museum, water filtration plant and City Hall aren’t expected to last through the week,

    http://usnews.msnbc.msn.com/_n

It seems the controversy started over the city paying for hot beverage cups and a $42,000 request for paper products.

You really can’t make this stuff up, folks.

Dzurkoc told the newspaper he couldn’t believe that supplies were city workers could be held up by a dispute over cup prices.

“They’re just ridiculous over cups,” he said.  “It’s a circus-like atmosphere for sure.”

The Council meets again next Tuesday, but for now if you’re going to be arrested be sure to have a roll of toilet paper in your pocket. Never know, it could buy your way out of the pokey early.

  2. Why did the Denver Post publish that incredibly misleading campaign finance story Sunday?

To set up today’s misleading union hit piece, that’s why!

I don’t know what the fuck is going on here, but it’s not journalism.

    1. I learned today that not only have LIBERAL superPacs outspent their righteously conservative counterparts by 150 TIMES!!!, but also that Public Employee Unions represent Public Employees, OMG!

Following the trail of clues, she further determined that these Public Employees take money from the Government, apparently disguised as “Paychecks”.  Even worse, these “Paychecks” allow Automatic deductions  furthering support of the nefarious activities of these Public Employee UNIONS, such as representing the members in discussions with management!!!!!

But wait, it gets worse!  According to Crummy’s investigation, many of  these Public Employees are Democrats.  Where it really gets bad her revelation that there are fellow-traveler Democrats IN GOVERNMENT OFFICES, including the GOVERNOR, almost half the HOUSE, and a MAJORITY of the SENATE!!!

Reportedly, these Democrats have the RIGHT TO VOTE!  Thankfully, since SOS Gessler and AG Suthers probably have read this hard-hitting investigative news report, they will take immediate action to hold hearings identifing these DEMOCRATS and put a stop to their illegal activities.  Afterall, only Republicans are allowed to contribute to campaigns, vote, and hold office!

    2. Democrats were exposed for their monetary corruption of US politics and abuse of tax payer resources to buy votes.

And the GOP should be embarrassed for their lack of fielding competitive fiscal responses ….  but than again it’s tough to beat out the Dems with their mastery of crony capitalism based on slush funds, gifts, grants and donations.

    1. by the stone cold look in his eyes.  Good thing.  That’s what our DOJ exists for…I am glad to see this.  Law and Order must be maintained.  That’s why if I ever, I mean ever, see anyone honking their horn in Denver (without cause as per CRS something or other) I will bring the force de’ jure upon them like no other.  And copyright scofflaws.  And those who disparage the wonders of Frack Juice.

  3. Romney with one win yesterday might have ended the fight.  Great news for the President who probably won’t know his opponent for sure until the Summer.

    1. The president’s opponent …

…wants to to declare life begins at conception (would that include 14th Amendment citizenship?)

      .. would eliminate contraception.

.. believes women and are second class citizens (as does his church).

..is an old, fat white guy.

      Sorry- no mystery here.

  4. An extremely important movie is coming this summer – Dinesh D’Souza – Obama & 2016

Dinesh D’Souza is author of many New York Times best sellers. The movie is from Gerald R. Molen, producer of Academy Award Winning Schindler’s List.

It explains in plain language who Barack Obama really is, what he stands for, and the dangers of him being reelected for another four years.

Watch this short informative video preview of this movie which came out only yesterday and share it with others. It has already been seen by over 18,000 people. Within a very short time it will have been seen by millions!

Sorry about the link, you’ll need to cut/paste

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z6QOscKvUjU

Any feedback on D’souza or the movie from you leftist liberals is appreciated

        1. I forget the Independance of Kenya and resulting citizenship rights abandoned or retained … Maybe I’ll go checkout Wikipedia on that note.

    1. Why is Gingrich pushing Dinesh D’Souza’s crazy theory about Obama’s “Kenyan anti-colonialism”?

Still, it’s jarring to see D’Souza making the latest attack. His book, The Roots of Obama’s Rage, is a mess. His most memorable previous books were messes, too. Every time he publishes a new mess, it gets the full Pastor Jones treatment in the respectable press. That’s had basically no effect on his ability to get published or his ability to get onto the stage at conservative conferences. But it is good for liberals. D’Souza was the first modern conservative author to discover-the hard way-that if you want to be a pundit, there is no downside to making a reprehensible argument. The downside comes for the people who may agree with your politics but not your argument.

And a wonderful writeup on SourceWatch:

      http://www.sourcewatch.org/ind

Just wondering ‘tad about your headline. If this is a guy that argues that Racism is essential dead in the US, why describe him with such a racist tag? AGAIN?

      1. BTW, loved Obamas glorious hosting of the UK PM. It’s nice to see he’s getting comfortable in his own skin and able to celebrate his family’s history as British subjects.

I think yesterday’s rambling jobs speech and today’s UK unification celebration will result a a couple of point bumps in the Approval rating. Shoot, he sure needs it after the CBS poll that showed is one week -14 point drop in approval from Women

  5. As soon to be new Colorado resident, convicted IL Guv Blago arrives I have the following Qs for my liberal leftist bloggers.

    1. When will Blagos kids qualify for in state tuition?

    2. Which Dem has been assigned to run a new resident/felon voting rights bill? Has Hick stamped it with his approval or will he remain in hiding?

    3. can I visit him and propose a business relationship to sell his autographs and other Bloago memorabilia via EBay?

    4. Will union prison guards grant Blago special union boss privileges?

    5. Have local Dem political leaders sought his expertise in electioneering and government management strategy?

    6. Will his IL state pension be taxed by state of Colorado authorities as a resident?

    Anyone, anyone?

    1. Get stupid answers.

      1. Liberals believe that prisoners should count toward the population of their (former) private residence, not toward the population of Republican-leaning areas which often house prisons.  (Conveniently, the prisoners can’t actually vote, giving Republicans artificial over-representation.)

      2. See above.

      3. You can, but all of his profits (and possibly yours) will likely be confiscated, since crime isn’t supposed to pay.  (Unless you’re a Republican, in which case you can follow G. Gordon Liddy and others into a profitable career based on your criminal past.)

      4. Only if you can manage through your business relationship to pay off the guards regularly.

      5. If Democrats outraised Republicans in the state 150:1 last cycle, they hardly need Blago’s incompetent style.

      6. Blago won’t get an IL state pension because Democrats there reject his criminal acts.
