According to View From a Height, we may have a Democratic candidate for Attorney General…finally. Boulder attorney Fern O’Brien could be poised to enter the race this week.

  1. Robert Leland Johnson is currently running for AG. He is rather elderly and has said he would only run “as long as it was fun” and would drop out if another Dem gets in race.

I know of another prominent Denver attorney who has been approached by some Dem party officials, but since I have not heard how that discussion went I will not disclose who yet. I only mention it to show the party is looking hard for a good candidate.

  2. What great news for the Dems!  It’s exciting to have a fresh face enter a statewide race, especially a woman with an extensive background in law and private business.  Colorado needs more women to get involved and win important seats!

This race will be one to watch I’m sure!
