We’ve been asking you every couple of months for nearly a year now to give us your opinion on who you think will end up as the Republican nominee for President. We last polled on Tuesday, giving us five different snapshots of how Colorado Pols readers view the GOP field.
With that data in-hand, we created some handy charts to show the rising and falling fortunes of several Republican contenders as viewed by the Colorado Pols community. It’s interesting to note that while Mitt Romney has always been the perceived favorite, Polsters have never bought into Herman Cain. Take a look:

It is nice to see that despite your trash talk, the Pols community is not distracted by the flavor of the month. I think these results are not too far from national polls, except your readers have the good sense to drop to zero for candidates with zero chance.
What was Bachmann doing in August that made so many of you choose her, though? That’s one that seems out of place.
That actually makes sense. Too bad, I like her spunk too.
And that God told her to run.
She speaks from the heart (if not the brain):
So here’s hoping Michele!
Juvenile, but probably accurate. 🙂
if Michele gets a second chance at flavor of the week.
Poor Mittens…

No love.
As my sig line says…
proof again he/she has a helluva sense of humor.
I’d love to see one of these deluded candidates that has recv’d such a divine directive vehemntly denounce their deity after losing their ass in the primaries. That’s too much to ask though isn’t it.
Spunk…Shmunk. We love her cause she’s a guaranteed loser.
But didn’t Pols say they wanted you to predict who would ACTUALLY win?
can’t speak for others.
Um, she won the Iowa straw poll.
Your claims to immense prescience would be more persuasive if you didn’t ask ill-informed questions like why people may have ratcheted upward the (longshot) odds of a Bachmann victory the month she won the nation’s biggest straw poll, the one conducted in the early state most simpatico to her.
She was on every magazine and on every news channel. That’s why her numbers were so high in August.
