ISIS also killed Afghan civilians and Taliban guards in the bombings, according to Yahoo.
Rep. Crow seems to have perspective missing in so many Representatives. Here's hoping he can influence the House, putting the focus on the limited mission of getting people out.
Later, there can be clarification of what lessons ought to be learned from pursuit of multiple goals over the years. I expect he will be in the midst of that effort, too.

I don't have to rub your face in it this time. The polls are doing it for me. This is a disaster for Biden and the Democrat Party. In 2023 after Republicans take back the House (and we are taking back the House in 2022) it could very well lead to impeachment.
But I'm not going to have a flamewar with liberals today, because above all this is a sad day for America. American Marines died needlessly today and our country is the laughingstock of the world.
I only hope America can hold together until Republicans take back power.

Noodledick doesn't care about our Afghan allies. He doesn't even care about U.S. soldiers. He just sees an opportunity for his fascist insurrectionists to take power and will use the soldiers as props to do it. Just like his party does.
This is the awful state of the Trumper party where they celebrate losses of Americans because it means they have another shot at seizing power for all time. I bet if you ask this insurrectionist if the Sandy Hook murders deserved as much grief and attention, he/she would laugh. That's how fucked up they are as people.
Roger is a Vietnam vet. I doubt he would demagogue Afghanistan. As usual, there is enough blame to go around. But we are making a strong if belated effort to get our friends out. I agree with Rep. Crow in general.
One thing that everyone can count on is Biden having empathy towards the families for what they are going through. He knows how painful loss is.
