I think David Brooks is an idiot, but he scores on this one. "The G.O.P. Is Getting Even Worse:
Sadly. He is right.
Trouble isn't done..
The Alamo is the correct metaphor. The Texicans were, after all, fighting for the "freedom" to own slaves.
Sadly, he’s still trying to sell the pretense that this is all some kind of an aberration, a deviation — instead of a step in a logical and foreseeable progression. And, yes, it’s that it’s a progression that informs why the trouble isn’t done.
"Venomous panic attack" – describes the state of the Republican Party well.
I have always thought David Brooks is a very thoughtful and intelligent guy, but hey, agree to disagree. Happy Friday.

Ah, the ever-elusive “Rogue Staffer” struck again in promoting and paying for the Trump rally 1/6/21. RAGA operated as a RWNJ money laundromat for the last few election cycles, contributing to Taller Coffman, George Brocolli, and others. Now that we have a Justice Department cracking down on campaign finance and corruption, lots of RAGA MAGAs are running scared.

JBS acquires European plant-based food company
Grass-a-rooty-tooty too . . .
. . . and, sham-a-lam them ding-dongs!
I just enjoyed listening to Rep. Adam Kinzinger discuss current conditions in the Republican party. He is smart and real. Republicans need to rally behind leaders like him if they want to have any hope of saving the party they once knew.
