I’m sure they’ll gin up a scenario in which Trump is still engaged in 5D chess with the Deep State, and everything is still going according to plan.

QAnon can be funny as hell, but we should always keep in mind that the whole enterprise is deeply evil. A secret cabal … controlling all the money and power … satanic ritualism … pedophilia … child sacrifice … QAnon is Protocols of the Elders of Zion for the 2020s.

    2. Oh, he was planning to, and he really wanted to . . .

. . . personally lead that glorious watering-the-tree-of-liberty purification with the very sword of William Wallace that he personally pulled from out of Plymouth Rock . . .

. . . but those damn, unpredictable bone spurs.  (He can show you the note from his doctor, if you don’t believe it . . .)

Pence was Plan B there, but let everyone down — again!

(The hopes and future of all humanity now rests heavily on the Manolo Blahniks of Warrior Princess Ivanka . . .)

  1. Was startled to see someone on Daily Kos showing a Fox News chyron saying there was an antifa "rampage" in Denver.

the chyron message apparently links to a Sen. Tom Cotton interview  [my emphasis].

SEN. TOM COTTON: I remember the media and Democrats blaming all this Antifa violence on Donald Trump. Yet here we have Joe Biden in the White House and Antifa is still rampaging in the streets of Seattle and Portland and Denver. It proves a point I made two months ago, two weeks ago. When you have a mob using violence for a political end, it doesn't matter what slogan they're chanting or flag they are waving. They have to be met with force.

I was interested to see what riot or rampage had happened in Denver and what was damaged, so went looking:  nothing in Denver Post.  Nothing on Colorado Public Radio. Nothing on a couple of the local news stations — including Fox31 Denver.  Nothing on the alternative Westword site.

    Closest things I could find

Denver Post:  A small anti-fascist group marched from Denver’s Cheesman Park to the Colorado Capitol to demonstrate against both Democrats and Republicans, police violence, racial injustice and more on Wednesday following the inauguration of President Joe Biden.

The US Sun:  An Antifa mob burned American flags outside Colorado’s capital building.

Sen. Tom Cotton apparently has a limited set of tools.  Whatever is happening, it needs to be met by force.

    1. Seems like a mixed bag of protests yesterday: BLM, Communists, generic Democrats, Trump supporters, superheroes. Pretty harmless if you don’t count the burning of American and Trump flags. CPR covered it here
My guess is 10-20% of provocateurs in the “mob”.

      1. I would not associate BLM with what happened at the Capitol Wednesday (flag burning, beating up a Trump supporter and burning his hat). Those who were identified as BLM loudly distanced themselves from what was going on. I would estimate no more than a half-dozen at most who identified as BLM out of the maybe 100 people total at the Capitol Wednesday.. Most came from the professional anarchists, who appeared to have no goal except to make a lot of noise and trouble.

The most telling moment was early in the day, when this Trump supporter got into it with a woman who claimed she was a medic and there for "peaceful purposes." She's told me this right after she instigated a fight with the Trump supporter and told him he had no right to be at the Capitol. "I'm telling you to leave nicely," she shouted at the top of her lungs at him, liberally sprinkled with f-bombs.

  2. I liked Bon Jovi's rendition of 'Here Comes the Sun'.  Nice touch having the group turn towards the sunset at the end of their segment.  Best 90 minutes of TV that I've watched in a while other than the swearing in ceremony.

  3. Someone died in my apartment building. Corpse stench. Police are all over doing a death investigation. I didn’t know the victim  at all, which is pretty sad for living down the hall. Don’t know gender, age, cause of death, and police aren’t saying at this point.

Does anyone know how to find Lakewood police reports? I knew how to find them in print, not online.
