    1. The deliciosity of THIS particular situation is amazing. I have been listening to interviews of Georgians these past couple of days.. There is much confusion and a growing number of them seem to be putting it in the, ” Aww, fuck it” category.

The thing with the grift on the legal fees seems to be hurting some Trumpian fee-fees. I can’t recall when I have enjoyed TV more than I have since Nov.4th. 😀

      1. The intended audience for his comments won't hear any contradiction.

If you're smart enough to hear a problem, you're just not Ttump donor material anyway.  Losers — no sliders for you!

      1. The best way to own the libs is to outfox them!  Since they know the Georgia voting machines are programmed to flip the votes, Republican voters should mark their ballots for the Dems, that way assuring they will go for Perdue and Loeffler instead.  Ha!

  1. Alexandra Petri has a fair amount of snark in her column the other day:

How I assume Georgia Republicans’ get-out-the-vote is going

One slight hiccup: I noticed that a slogan Sen. Perdue has been using is “Totally Exonerated." This seems like a bad slogan to me. The first thing that slogan makes me think is, “Of what?” You know? If someone’s campaign slogan is “Don’t worry, they found the real killer!” I get worried. I start having a lot of questions I didn’t have before. “This man didn’t do any of the crimes that people say he did!” I feel like you’re doing the opponent’s work for him. Has he done anything positive for the people of Georgia that you could highlight instead? Maybe he helped one Georgian make a lot of money!

    Can’t wait for those slogans!

  2. Colorado Republicans in Congress are falling in line with the vast majority of their Republican colleagues.

Just 26 congressional Republicans acknowledge Biden’s win, Washington Post survey finds

Just 26 congressional Republicans acknowledge Joe Biden’s win over President Trump a month after the former vice president’s clear victory of more than 7 million votes nationally and a convincing electoral-vote margin that exactly matched Trump’s 2016 tally.

Two Republicans consider Trump the winner despite all evidence showing otherwise. And another 221 GOP members of the House and Senate — nearly 90 percent of all Republicans serving in Congress — will simply not say who won the election.

The two committed to fantasy are Reps. Paul A. Gosar (Ariz.) and Mo Brooks (Ala.)

    1. This is where the rubber meets the road for the GOP. Currently there are only a couple of, so called, “conservative” Republicans in congress. The rest are Trumplicans©, and likely to remain so, their protestations of the appellation, notwithstanding.. Bailing on the failing one after accommodating and enabling him for 4 years won’t save your sorry asses now.

It appears Jan. 6th is becoming a watershed date. That is the day congress certifies the vote of the electoral college, I gather, and that will be his last chance for someone…anyone… to overturn this election.

Will he go as far as Maduro? I think he would, if he could.

I wonder if Fluffy and the Powerful Pear are fully “tactical” and ready to waste libs? What say, fellows? How is the militia training coming along?

      1. Fluffy is a coward hiding in granny’s basement with his collection of provocative photos of Michelle Bachman, Michelle MalkIn and Cynthia Coffman.

Roger is still pissed off with Douglas County GOP for not delivering in his RTD district.

  3. Can a Martial Law declaration be far behind?

President Trump called Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp (R) on Saturday morning to urge him to persuade the state legislature to overturn President-elect Joe Biden’s victory in the state and asked the governor to order an audit of absentee ballot signatures, the latest brazen effort by the president to interfere in the 2020 election.

Hours before he was scheduled to hold a rally in Georgia on behalf of the state’s two GOP senators, Trump pressed Kemp to call a special session of the state legislature to get lawmakers to override the results and appoint electors that would back him, according to a person familiar with the conversation who spoke on the condition of anonymity to describe the private call. He also asked the governor to demand an audit of signatures on mail ballots, something Kemp has previously noted he has no power to do.

Trump is oblivious to the fact that neither Gov. Kemp, nor the legislature have the authority to do what he demands, even if they wanted to.

    1. That what you get when you back a candidate with no background in policy, politics, or law (except, maybe bankruptcy). He demands that lawyers do impossible, or even illegal things.

  4. Trumper Councilwoman’s tearful video is cut with original footage showing why her hubby was fired for intimidating a journalist.

This is what it’s going to take to stop these white supremacist terrorists- they have to have real world consequences.

  5. This morning, Chuck Todd of NBCs’ Meet the Press used the term “tin pot dictator” in reference to our favorite president.

I have a serious question. How close to sedition or treason has the behavior of the president become? I heard him say he doesn’t want to wait 4 yrs., he wants to go back 3 weeks. He does not want to be a candidate in 2024. He wants to be an incumbent, preparing to accommodate a chosen successor.

Let us not forget the name of his idol.

    Vladimir Putin.

    1. Just like the networks and AP have analysts who strenuously analyze, the Ds do as well (maybe the Rs do but they're pissing in the wind this cycle). The states have their own limits set for triggering auto recounts. That threshold was not met in FL or NC apparently.

In short, the Ds more readily accepted the reality of those losses.

    1. That’s truly bad news . . .

. . . the poor fucker was already leaking badly out of both ends, and there’s no way now Ttump’s gonna’ be able to come up with any replacement who’s less competent.

PS. Anyone seen any definitive studies as to whether or not the coronavirus can be transmitted through flatulence? . . . Asking for an elite strike force team . . .

  6. The Georgia debate between Reverend Warnock and Rep. Loeffler was tonight.

You could watch it, but it’s mostly Warnock talking policy and calling out Loeffler’s shady stocks deals,  while Loeffler calls him a radical liberal socialist. I’d say he won. I hope that they managed to get all the purged Georgia voters re-registered.

    CBS has a good summary

    1. In that video of the COVID relief bill signing, the Gov himself looked quite ill and his left arm didn't move at all. Here's hoping they both recover quickly and completely.
