  1. Breaking…more coming, but it looks like T***ps’ bestie in Moscow has thrown him under the Hunter Biden bus.

    Har – dee- fucking- har-har!

Having trouble posting link…story at NBC.

  2. 99 pictures of Trump on the wall, 99 pictures of Trump, take one down, rip it up, 98 pictures of Trump on the wall…..

98 pictures of Trump on the wall, 98 pictures of Trump, take one down, rip it up, 97 pictures of Trump on the wall……

Get the picture? 8 days to go, until the end of America's national nightmare.

    1. Kayleigh saying the quiet part out loud, prior to joining the cult:

“Republicans run into a problem if it is Joe Biden and if it is maybe a Trump on the other side," McEnany said. “Because Joe Biden, one of the things he is remarkable at is really kind of being a man of the people and resonating with middle-class voters.”

    2. It scans a little better this way, CHB:
99 pictures of Trump on the wall, 99 pictures of Trump, take one down, rip it to shreds, 98 pictures of Trump on the wall…..

98 pictures of Trump on the wall, 98 pictures of Trump, take one down, rip it to shreds, 97 pictures of Trump on the wall……

      1. Mincemeat is the origin of fruitcake. Mincemeat hasn't actually had meat in it in about 300 years, but it still contains suet-fat from organ meats.

  3. Latest polls have Biden above 50 pct in all three "blue wall" states: up 10 in Michigan, 9 in Wisconsin, 8 in Pa.

Icing on the cake: a 1 point lead in Texas and another lead in Georgia, plus North Carolina and Fla.

    1. I don’t expect Biden to actually win Texas but it is a possibility and if he did, imagine the wholesale incontinence we would see experienced in the GOP.

      Oh the horror, the horror!

I still believe that there is a “hidden Trump voter” out there – folks who are too embarrassed to tell pollsters that they’re actually voting for him.

But I don’t believe it is more 5% of those polled which means if Biden is running 7% to 10% ahead of Trump in MI, WI and PA, the Blue Wall has been re-built.

      1. I’ve been paying attention to just one poll the past couple weeks; the daily, and sometime hourly, amalgamation of multiple polls done by The Economist.

    1. Current CO-03 votes, according to Magellan Strategies

      R —- 67,003

      D —- 72,822

      U —- 69,491

      Total 211,673

from the DCCC description:  "Significantly, Mitsch Bush leads Boebert by 17-points (49% to 32%) among the largest group in the district by party registration, Independent/UAF voters."

    1. I'm sure there are some comforting words in Fossilonians

Bob Murray Helped Shape Trump’s Energy Policies. Now, His Coal Company Is Facing Bankruptcy.

The largest privately owned coal company in the U.S., whose founder Bob Murray played an outsize role in shaping President Donald Trump’s fossil fuel policies and heralded his election as “a wonderful victory,” has entered bankruptcy.

Murray Energy Holdings Co.’s Chapter 11 filing is the latest signal that the coal industry’s fortunes have continued to decline, despite President Trump’s vow on the campaign trail and then in office to end what he called the “war on coal” and revive the struggling sector.

    1. Other than ALEC is generally full of crap; like trying to sell off our federal public lands a few years back; how is their rating of Governor Polis a problem?

      1. The Laffer Curve is a lot like The Secret and the sequel Beyond the Secret – The Awakening.
If it is true, it explains so much and is so awesome.
But it's the Cartesian diety – may as well believe and live as if, because if it is true, well, I better be ont he right side. And if not – who cares anyway?

at extremely high rates of taxation (assuming an upper limit of 100% – which is not necessarily the upper limit), a tax reduction may result in increased output adequate increase to result in higher revenue with lower rate.
But at lower rates of taxation, it will be less and less likely. In the middle, it will be likely to redistribute with no net gain.

        The question of what is high or low is entirely  F(y – C – I -(X-M) = G)
Where do taxes go? where does G go? If the taxes are siphoned off the economy by corrupt actors or other dead weight loss, "high" taxes will be a smaller number than if the taxes are buried in G  (infrastructure and internal development like publicly funded higher ed) in which case ;ow taxes are going to be a much higher number.

Still – it's never worked anywhere, ever. If by work we agree that it means higher GDP growth and no destabilizing debt or war.

What the math proves and has worked over and over and over is that higher GDP growth does result from more equal distribution of wealth and income.

Jeff Bezos could give all 876,000 Amazon employees a $105,000 bonus and he would be left with exactly as much money as he had at the start of the pandemic. This kind of imbalance is a drag on GDP growth. Math proves it, history proves it. Over and over and over.

        Anyway – it's Obama's  fault . And her emails'.

    1. Here's Ohio Woman …

      from Daily Kos' article:

Renea Turner was a well connected Ohio Republican with solid ties to the state legislature. How solid? A few weeks ago, Renea Turner met with State Representative John Becker to demand the imprisonment of Governor Mike DeWine, a Trump-backing Republican, but a Republican who had come out in favor of minimal restrictions on facemasks.

In a Facebook Live feed delivered on October 22nd, Turner announced that she was the new governor of Ohio, that Mike DeWine had went beyond his authority and she was taking over the government.

      1. Maybe we need a poll on who might be our “Colorado equivalent”.  Most of those who come to mind have man parts (looking at you, Gordon). I’ve forgotten, is Fisting Granny still with us?

        1. I’d nominate Nancy Pallozzi for Colorado right wing female nutcase. (RWFN) She’s always running for some office (Lakewood HD28, Councilwoman and currently State Board of Education District 7) or trying to recall someone else ( Jared Polis, Brittany Pettersen), but she is really bad at it.

If by some fluke Pallozzi is elected to the State BOE, she’d be advocating for arming teachers, paying for private and religious schools with public funds, and freeing up parents from vaccinating their kids. Luckily, her opponent, the extremely competent and pragmatic progressive Karla Esser, is running a much better campaign.

Other candidates for RWFN: Judy Reyher, Joan Poston aka “Fisting Granny”, who is running for a Colorado GOP position, Juli-Andra Fuentes, Complete Colorado’s Sherrie Peif, Ramey Johnson, and so many more.
