  1. I'm sick of Franklin.
It's not as bad as the Eagles or Cars burnout. But still.

What's the big Labor day thing in Denver?
    I keep looking but nada.
OTOH – in the spirit of being the change I want to see … I'm fine with just doing nothing, centered on beer.

  2. "…nobody is burned out on KC and the Sunshine Band quiet yet.”
Ick, Michael! I was burned out on them in the late-70s, and I was just a kid.

    1. What??? They’ve been around since the 70’s??? We’ve just graduated from dial-up out here in the Colorado Outback and I’ve just discovered them 😳

Next up: Katrina and the Waves

          1. Are you in favor of the Spaceport plans, Michael?

I seem to recall that it might involve digging up or paving over some of Rocky Mtn Arsenal & Wildlife refuge, but can’t Research that right now.

              1. Hopefully, the bison enjoyed the hemp!  I guess that the planned Spaceport is 20 miles away from the eastern edge of the RMA/WR, so probably minimal impact.

My son, who machines precision air and spacecraft parts, is jazzed about the Spaceport being built, and commercial space flight taking off in CO.

  3. Returning home from work last night, I saw a couple of dipshits standing on a corner in Broomfield next to a janky-ass folding card table waiving "Recall Polis" signs made with children's construction paper and magic markers. This isn't exactly what you'd call a spare-no-expense operation. The sight was so pathetic I almost couldn't laugh so hard that I needed to pull over and compose myself.

    Almost.

    1. We have a dedicated follower or two and some printed campain style signs, but – no, not a major operation the likes of which would be needed to collect enough signatures. Good enough maybe to expand the donorsucker base, though.

      1. Good enough maybe to expand the donorsucker base, though.

And since to all appearances the true goal of the recall campaign is feathering Pat Neville's nest, reaching a greater number of fleecible rubes is indeed good enough.
